Putting Feral Cats to Work

Making Los Angeles a truly no-kill city often requires out of the box thinking.

When unsocialized or feral cats enter the shelter, they are considered unadoptable and are euthanized. Inspired by similar successful programs in other cities around the country our rescue partner, The PAW Mission, has launched a program to give these kitties a new start.

Rodent Rangers are healthy, sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start ridding your property of pests. All they ask in retrun is a bowl of cat food and water set out daily, as needed veterinary care, and shelter in a garage or barn.

Though these cats are not interested in human contact, they can still be a valuable addition to your life and livelihood. If you think your family and property might be a good fit for a team of Rodent Rangers, visit The PAW Mission for more information and to apply to be a part of the program
